Beauty School is like having a friend w/benefits…almost!

Beauty School Benefits go beyond training. Beauty Schools provide opportunity, security, and profitability for the high school graduate, or the Graduate Record Exam, and the best place to find the best beauty school for you is here, at Beauty Schools Listings.com. I interviewed a successful beauty school graduate recently who chose a career as a hair stylist upon graduation from beauty school because she felt good about the happiness she brought her clients as their hair stylist. That was her reason for attending beauty college in the first place, to make her clients happy.Even though she had a talent for cutting and coloring her clients’ hair, she wasn’t confident in dealing with the rare unhappy client…and that’s when she fell back on the training she received at her beauty school. The training you receive at beauty school is not limited to the techniques and logistical curriculum. Beauty schools also prepare you for managerial attributes needed when interacting with clients, marketing, and sales. These classes are beneficial not only to a career in cosmetology but to any field.

Winter Wonderland of dry skin!
Posted on December 10th, 2009 No comments
Its that time of year again where the leaves fall off the trees, the remnants of your summer tan lays on the esthitician’s floor after an exfoliation treatment you are treating yourself to at the local beauty school in hopes to scrub away thew Winter Wonderland Skin blues! That’s right people, times are tough! I have abandoned my wallet as my financial freedoms have abandoned me. My hot pink nail polish the nail technician so artistically painted with a gem design for the final touches, is chipped and faded, a daily reminder of how this economy is a death sentence for cosmetology treats, manis & pedis, and my long lost friend Mr. Massage. I forget what it feels like to have a massage therapist work methodically on the knots that have developed in my right shoulder blade from a crazy day of texting in the nail salon.
In the midst of my self-pity party for the glory days of hair-stylists, estheticians, nail salons, and spa treatments….I realized that although times have never been so tough, I have still managed to Mcguyver my way into a cosmetology type appointment one way or another. Which made me realize the security for jobs in the beauty industry, and now I’m considering securing my future by pursuing an education from my local cosmetology school.
